AIG Life appoints Neil Davies as Commercial Director

AIG Life Limited has today announced the appointment of Neil Davies as Commercial Director, reporting to Phil Willcock, Chief Executive Officer, AIG Life.

Commenting on the appointment, Willcock said: 'I am excited to bring someone of Neil’s calibre into our business. He brings a wealth of experience and a broad commercial skillset. I am delighted to welcome him to AIG Life.'

Neil has over 30 years’ experience holding various senior positions in the UK Life and Retirement sector. He joins from HSBC UK Insurance where he was Deputy CEO with responsibility for proposition development across UK Life and General Insurance.

Willcock added: 'Neil’s commercial credentials are incredibly strong and he has a track record of leading significant partner relationships and launching innovative new digital life products into the intermediated, aggregator and consumer markets.'

Willcock continued: 'Neil’s appointment comes following the decision of Nicola Dryden, Partnership Director, to leave AIG Life. I know that as our Commercial Director, Neil will be focused on driving both good customer and commercial outcomes for our strategic partners in the future. He inherits an experienced and dedicated team and I am confident partnership distribution will continue to strengthen and grow under his leadership.'
